Considerations

All wind wheels are custom-made to order and are non-refundable. All components are handmade. We reserve the right to make modifications as needed. Delivery times vary depending on the complexity of the piece.

We advise removing your wind wheel when high winds are forecasted to avoid damage to the wheels. In the unforeseeable event damage occurs, please contact us at spriritaswind.com for solutions.

Wheels are assembled and tested before shipping to ensure the free spinning of wheels and proper fit of components. Should you have questions or need assistance please reach out to us at spiritaswind.com

Wind wheels are free-spinning objects and can be dangerous if handled incorrectly. Never reach into a spinning wheel. The shaft can be rotated on the ground pin which may slow spinning down enough to stop the motion.

It’s recommended to clean periodically. Bearings are sealed and do not require maintenance. If you have an issue with a seized bearing, please contact us and we will replace it at no charge.

Wheels may spin together, in the same direction, or opposite one another. Sometimes only one side will spin. This does not indicate a defective assembly but does indicate the movement of airflow. It’s unpredictable. The shaft can be rotated to optimize catching the best wind flow by losing set screws at the bottom of the shaft and rotating by hand. Re-tighten screws after repositioning.

Color samples can vary. Most of the powder used is translucent which means it allows one to see any background textures on the metal. Solid colors are opaque. Both powder coating and anodizing can fade in direct sunlight. Some colors are more susceptible to fading.
